Why are there files in my new hosting account? I didn't put them there!
Solution
When your account is created some files and folders are automatically placed on your account to make your website show up.These include catalogs, etc, mail, public_ftp, public_html, tmp and www. These folders contain other files and programs that are needed to run certain items for your domain
